No 14 de dezembro a Batatóp inaugurou sua primeira loja na cidade de Sorocaba, mais precisamente na Avenida São Francisco, 75 – Santa Rosália. A loja piloto nasceu fazendo um grande sucesso, no primeiro dia de funcionamento foram vendidas mais de 200 unidades de seu carro chefe (batatas palito). Os sócios Alessandro Scapol e Vinicius Klarosk estão muito satisfeitos com a receptividade do público para com esse novo produto, e afirmam “Sorocaba comporta pelo menos mais 5 lojas como esta” e informam também que a marca foi desenvolvida para ser um padrão de franquia nacional.
